The importance of forest management.

Many people don't know that every tree has a life expectancy just like everything else in this world. Older trees need to be harvested to capture the carbon, shipped to the mill and made into lumber. After the logging is done it should be replanted to start a new cycle of timber for future generations. Harvesting bigger timber will also cut down on the hazard of a wildfire. All jobs are cleaned up with the brush piled to clear the area for good replant. 
Thinning can also be a could alternate to a full harvest. If you have a mature stand that has a mixed of younger trees we can come in and take out the bigger timber to make room for the smaller timber to grow, making for a healthier forest. Or if you have a smaller stand of timber with younger trees we can help you thin it to make space for the younger trees to grow. Trees without the proper space to grow will begin to die and can cause problems for your forest health.
